"Tsar Fish": Irish fishermen caught giant tuna in the Atlantic

The catch was successful for three Irish fishermen off the coast of the Atlantic - their trophy was a huge tuna weighing 272 kg and 2.4 meters long.

According to Japanese experts, such a fish can cost more than three million dollars.

However, their catch will not bring the Irish money: the fishermen were participants in the government program to study the fish population in the Atlantic Ocean. Their task was simply to catch it, weigh it and release it. Which they did.

So the giant tuna is still swimming, and other fishermen have a chance to get rich.
