Two pensioners in the Nizhny Novgorod region had to endure a dangerous adventure: elderly women got lost in the forest and were forced to flee from wild animals in a hunting lodge at the top of a tree, which they, fortunately, found, local media reported.
On September 7, two women, 77 and 65 years old, went to pick mushrooms and did not return. A day later, volunteers found the retired women 11 kilometers from the village they left, at the top of a tree.
The women, finding a hunting tree house, decided to spend the night there, fleeing wild animals. As the volunteers note, it was a good idea, because tracks of bears were found around their shelter.
