A resident of Novosibirsk rescues abandoned ferrets

Fourteen ferrets and one mongoose live in a Novosibirsk shelter, created especially for these animals by a resident of the city, according to the local press.

The owner Elena Zhuravleva created a shelter especially for ferrets, because these animals often fall prey to the frivolity and cruelty of people who give birth to animals and then throw them out into the street.

According to Elena, "ferrets are predators that need proper care and nutrition." And this, according to the hostess of the shelter, is not a cheap pleasure: just treating a sick ferret can cost tens of thousands of rubles.

All the animals in her shelter were once bought by the former owners, and then they ended up on the street after they were not ready to keep ferrets.
