High-yielding tomato Olya F1

How to grow tomatoes with your own handsRecently, among gardeners and summer residents, tomatoes Olya F 1, which have recently appeared on our market, have become popular. And this is not surprising, because this high-yielding and early ripening tomato variety does not need pinching, sets fruits even in poor light and low temperatures, and has excellent taste.

Description and value of the hybrid Olya F 1

With a plant height of up to 1 meter 20 centimeters, up to fifteen brushes can form on it. In this case, three brushes are simultaneously formed and ripen at once. Lightly ribbed, shiny, bright red fruits of the culture are rounded and excellent taste.

The values of the Olga hybrid include:

  • resistance to low light;
  • excellent tolerance to low and high temperatures;
  • high productivity;
  • good resistance to fusarion, nematode, tobacco mosaic virus and cladosporium;
  • easy care.

Tomatoes of this variety are great for fresh consumption and canning.

Growing features

The plant is characterized by limited growth and forms several brushes on the central shoot at once. Experienced gardeners advise growing Olya tomatoes in two shoots, starting the stepson from under the first brush. Leaving two brushes on the stepson, and removing all flowers on the central shoots, you need cut off two leaves and the top... It is recommended to sprinkle the cut site with charcoal or activated carbon.

Soil preparation

When planting Olya tomatoes, special attention should be paid to soil preparation. This culture likes loose soil, for the preparation of which it is used:

  • How to properly prepare the soil for sowing tomatoone part of peat;
  • one part of sawdust;
  • two pieces of greenhouse land;
  • two handfuls of eggshell;
  • a few tablespoons of superphosphate;
  • 0.5 liter can of ash.

Sawdust before use first brewed with boiling water, and then steamed with a hot urea solution.

The soil prepared for tomato seedlings is distributed in boxes or containers and spilled with a hot solution of potassium permanganate. The seed containers should only be half full with soil.

Seedling care

When the first seedlings appear, it is recommended to take out the seedlings for a short time to the glazed balcony. Initial watering is done on the fourth day after germination. Watering should be done in two teaspoons, distributing water along the edge of the nursery. After the appearance of three true leaves, each bush of the plant is watered with about 100 ml of water.

To slow down the overgrowth of seedlings, tomatoes are dived twice. The first time you need to do this is when the plant has three real sheetsand the second one twenty-one days later.

To improve immunity, seven-day seedlings are sprayed with "Epin". The first feeding of tomatoes should be done ten days after the first pick.

Hybrids can be grown both indoors and outdoors. In heated greenhouses, the plant can be grown all year round. In open ground, hardened seedlings are planted in May. The first crop can be removed within a hundred days after germination.

Tomato reviews

What is the most delicious tomato varietyLast year Olya tried to grow a hybrid for the first time. At the same time, the agrofirm promised that tomatoes do not require pinching, the plant is slightly leafy, weak and cold-resistant... The variety sets fruit even at a temperature of + 7C, has a simple cluster with 7-9 fruits, each of which carries about 120-150 grams. Tomatoes are resistant to viral diseases and are recommended for growing in film and glazed greenhouses.

I planted this tomato variety at the front door of the greenhouse. As a result, they attracted my attention and made me happy with medium-sized tomatoes, with which the bushes were simply covered. The fruits appeared on these bushes earlier than anyone else. However, the lower leaves and stepsons had to be cut off in the same way as on other tomatoes. Tomatoes Olya F 1 are really stunted and are good in salads and preservation.

Me it I liked the hybrid very much... Last summer was extreme, but the harvest was still good as a result. The fruits grow smooth, dense and moderately juicy.

On May 9, 2015, Olya F 1 planted tomato seedlings in open ground on a high bed. She did not cover it from above, but covered it with a thick layer of hay under the roots. Spilled fertilizer immediately after planting. The harvest was huge! But the fruits did not have time to ripen on the bush. Due to the fact that late blight began, they had to be removed green. Spun all the tomatoes in the marinade. This year I want to plant them again.

I grew this hybrid in a greenhouse last year. The bushes grow to about one meter. Fruits appear early. It was stated that each tomato should weigh 180 grams, however, as a result, the fruits were approximately 100-120 grams in weight... I really liked the fact that the variety is fruitful, and the plants did not get sick until the end of the season. I bought seeds from Aelita-Agro. Pickled all the tomatoes. This year I want to try planting a few bushes in open ground.

I really liked the Olya tomato variety. In a simple greenhouse without top dressing and with minimal care, I got a decent harvest of these tomatoes. When growing, I noticed that the plant blooms on several brushes at the same time and forms fruits. The result is a high early harvest. This year I want to plant them in good conditions, that is, in a greenhouse.

For the northern and north-western regions, the Olya F 1 hybrid is excellent. With an early planting, it is not afraid of frost, already in mid-May it begins to bloom profusely. With the onset of heat on the brushes of the plant, fruits begin to pour. This tomato variety forms three clusters along the central shoot. To get an early harvest, you can leave only the central shoot, and remove the stepsons.

Types and varieties of tomatoesBut I don’t do that. To do this, you can plant standard tomato varieties... On Olya's hybrid, I leave the central shoot and two stepsons. The first one is under the first brush, and the second, respectively, is under the second. Each of the stepchildren will give three more flower brushes. Tomatoes grow in my greenhouse. I plant them on one square meter, no more than three.

As a result, every year I collect about 16 kilograms of Olya tomato. The harvest may be more, but I have given the very minimum figures. Such a planting is very beneficial for me, since I don't need a lot of seedlings, but the harvest is still good.

If you have got a lot of seedlings, then the plants can be planted according to the 40x40cm scheme, but then they will have to be formed only in two shoots. It is better not to feed tomatoes growing in a greenhouse with organic matter, since a lot of biomass will grow.
