OT lilies are hybrids of Tubular representatives with Orientals (oriental lilies), were bred in 1952 by American breeders and subsequently improved by Dutch botanists.
A distinctive feature of this hybrid is a strong peduncle; flowers can be either cuboid or drooping. The best varieties of OT lilies have up to 30-40 peduncles on one stem and look like a ready-made bouquet. Hybrids are distinguished by their beauty, strength, high growth and a pronounced aroma. - Some species, several years after planting, can reach gigantic sizes - more than 1.5 m in height. - Palazzo - OT lily with crimson-burgundy flowers.
- Red Dutch. Plant height reaches 90-120 cm. Flowers are wine-red with bright yellow tips. Blooms in mid-summer.
- Robina is a lily 90-110 cm high with pink flowers and a white "heart". The diameter of the inflorescences is 15-20 cm.The flowering period is July-August.
- Scheherazade. It resembles Oriental lilies in appearance, but has larger inflorescences.
- Silk Road is a hybrid with delicate pink and white buds.
- Lilium Conca d Or is a hybrid with a height of just over 1 m, with a light green stem. Differs in long flowering - up to one hundred days. Inflorescences are large (up to 25-28 cm) with a delicate smell.
- Liliya Altari. Plant height 100-120 cm, flowers are large (18-20 cm), powder-shaped, directed to the sides. The petals are wavy with the tips bent back. The inflorescence is formed from 5-8 flowers, exuding a light delicate aroma. Blooms in the second half of summer (August).
- Lilium Robina is a tall variety reaching one and a half meters in height. Stems are green with dark markings. Inflorescences are purple-red with a yellowish-white throat.
- Lilium Miss Feya is a short plant (up to 1 m) with dark green foliage. The flowers are large, up to 25 cm in diameter with a purple-red hue, along the edges of the petals - a white edging.
- Lilium Ovatie is a tall lily, reaching a height of one and a half meters with a fairly strong stem.
- Lilium Sheherazade is a tall plant (up to 2.5 m) with dark green foliage. Up to thirty inflorescences of a drooping shape of a dark red hue are formed on one stem. The diameter of the flowers is 25 cm. The lily blooms in the second half of summer or its end. Inflorescences are cup-shaped, painted white. The neck is green, the pollen is brown.
- Liliya Boogie Woogie. The height of the hybrid is 110 cm. The flowers are white-pink, directed to the sides. The smell is similar to that of lilies of the valley.
- Nazeri Karillon is a tall hybrid with drooping, large (up to 30 cm) inflorescences of a whitish-crimson color. Delivers a pleasant aroma.
