Growing grapes in northern latitudes is quite a popular activity today. Many gardeners boldly take on this and get a harvest. Others find it difficult and risky to grow grapes in their own garden. So I want to say - there is nothing complicated here. Planting technology is available to everyone, the costs are no more than when planting any other garden plant. Warmth, light and caring hands are all that grapes need in your garden!
For a long time Belarus was identified with bulba (potato) - the dominant agricultural crop. And the inhabitants of the republic were affectionately nicknamed "Bulbash". Now, in many Belarusian courtyards, grapes flaunt in a place of honor, organically blending into the local flavor. And now, with good reason, the word "winegrower" is added to the nickname of local residents.
In Central Russia and in the Moscow region, delicious table or technical grapes for making juice or wine have long ceased to be exotic. It is grown in greenhouses, greenhouses or open ground. All grape varieties, in the berries of which are absent or have soft rudimentary seeds, are called raisins. The beginning of the selection of grapes with such characteristics was laid by varieties grown in the Middle East and Central Asia. The hybrid form of Sofia conquers the hearts of winegrowers with heavy bunches of large pink berries with a nutmeg aroma. However, the variety has already been called capricious, requiring non-standard care. There are disadvantages that you have to put up with for the sake of a large harvest of delicious and beautiful grapes.
