Grapes
The grapes of the very early ripening period Tason are considered by many experts to be the best in their segment. As a representative of the varieties that ripen at the end of July, it also has a high frost resistance, which makes it possible to obtain harvests of berries of remarkable taste even in the Leningrad Region. It is grown by both hobbyists and farmers selling grapes.
For several decades in a row, vineyards have been slowly moving north. This happens thanks to breeders who create frost-resistant varieties. It is not always possible to combine high resistance to cold weather with excellent quality of the harvest, but if this happens, the variety gains recognition. One of these varieties is Ruslan grapes of Ukrainian origin.
For many years, grapes were considered an exclusively southern culture. But today it is successfully grown in regions with a temperate climate. Breeders have bred many varieties that can produce a bountiful harvest of delicious berries in difficult weather conditions. These include the Crystal grapes, which have gained well-deserved popularity among northern winegrowers, due to their unpretentiousness and high winter hardiness.
Grapes of the Long-awaited variety contain almost no seeds, therefore it is sometimes called a raisin variety. But the Long-awaited one differs from traditional raisins by its very large fruits. This grape, fully consistent with its name, is a true find for both professionals and ordinary summer residents in most climatic regions.
