Grapes
Moldova grapes are suitable for cultivation only in the south: in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, Crimea, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and other regions with hot and long summers. The variety is very fruitful, the berries have a harmonious taste, are good fresh and as a raw material for winemaking. Moldova can not be called capricious, rather, it is a workhorse, but there are peculiarities of cultivation, and significant ones.
Grape is originally a southern plant. But an increasing number of gardeners from cold regions are eager to grow his sweet berries. Due to the frosty winters, sharp temperature changes in the spring, there is a need for a shelter for the wine-city. Even in spite of the appearance of uncovering sorts, most need to be covered for the winter.
The Sphinx grape is one table grape that hardly stands out for better or worse from the vast list of other modern varieties. The Sphinx is not bad because it is easy to grow, and therefore recommended for beginner vineyards. Its yield is high, the berries are tasty, but there are drawbacks, and significant ones.
More and more gardeners are interested in viticulture, because breeders have already bred many varieties that successfully adapt to the conditions of a climate unusual for a culture and bring a very good harvest. Rochefort is not an achievement of a professional, but of an amateur, but by many criteria it is considered almost a standard. And unpretentious care makes the variety very suitable for the not too experienced gardener who wants to experiment and try to grow something new.
